Kat Phyn is a script-writer, film-maker and poet who also dabbles in the occasional protest for human rights. For the last decade she’s been crewing behind the camera in NZ & Australian on iconic shows such as Neighbours, Go Girls and Power Rangers, and is now currently working on moving out of the technical side of showbiz into the more creative field of writing. Kat has had poetry published in Sidestream magazine and on Blackmail press and has a blog about women in film called “Girls Can’t Shoot” which can be found on WordPress.
