Evelyn Tadros also speaks with Romani Benjamin, one of the people behind Key of Sea albums, which features beautiful collaborations between a high profiled Australian musician and an extraordinarily talented musician who has brought their cultural heritage from across the sea, escaping war, hardship or persecution.  Awaz, a Kurdish musician from Turkey, who features on the recently released Volume 2 album with Sophia Brous, speaks about the human rights issues faced by Kurds in Turkey and also plays a tune for us live on his balama.

Authorities shot down the Internet of the whole country and embarked on a horrific killing spree. Amnesty International has so far verified 208 deaths in less than a week.
